Frau Angela Ferguson was my tour guide while I was in Berlin. She was tutoring a group of Samford students in a summer study of German things.
We stayed in the middle of nowhere at the German Baptist Seminary .. its in the forest behind this train station.

These are two examples of cheap transport in Berlin. The blue one is a human driven bike with a seat behind the rider for two persons. I don't know how much it cost to ride because I only found it as I was leaving. The red and yellow vehicles are obvious.
