For three nights this week I have watched Christiane Amanpour's documentary on three of the world's great religions. There will be an encore performance on CNN soon and it is well worth watching. The one about Christianity was just plain scary! Focuses a lot of attention on the radical fundamentalist on the far right. Compares some aspects with the Taliban and the institution of Sharia Law.

A few days ago I posted a video. Well take a look at this article
Here is an excerpt: “Christians United For Israel”, and their leader John Hagee, are giving the Jewish people false hope, and are propagating bloodshed and injustice in the process. Many “church” leaders propagate this error and are leading both Christians and Jews dangerously astray. Israel has become an idol to many Christians, and those of Jewish ancestry have become an idol to many Christians. Idolatry has ascended and Jesus has fallen to second place. Jesus said “whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.” Now it is erroneously taught that we will be blessed if we bless unbelieving Israel, and cursed if we don’t bless them. It is so important to read the word of God for ourselves, lest the same be said of us, that we knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets."
Please remember that I am expressing my opinion and my opinion alone .. but it is good to find someone who agrees with my opinion!

We stayed in the middle of nowhere at the German Baptist Seminary .. its in the forest behind this train station.
These are two examples of cheap transport in Berlin. The blue one is a human driven bike with a seat behind the rider for two persons. I don't know how much it cost to ride because I only found it as I was leaving. The red and yellow vehicles are obvious.

Thanks to a new friend at Baptist Life Forum and to"honor Emeritus Professor Robert Bury Ferguson (1920- ), Canadian mineralogist, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada, especially for his contributions to pegmatite mineralogy." Information found on their website says that it is an uncommon primary mineral in the intermediate zone of a granite pegmatite enriched in manganese and fluorine from the Gotcha claim, on an island in Cross Lake, Manitoba, Canada.
IMA Status: Approved IMA 1984
I know nothing more about this mineral. I just thought it was a fun piece of trivia to share. After all Judge Roy Moore has his very own Roy's Rock.

Please note that the title to my Blog is Just My Opinion. The interesting things to me is that my opposition to the theology (or lack of theology) as portrayed in this video is as strong today as it was 50 years ago. I support Israel's right to have a homeland but not at the expense of rooting our the Arabs who had been living on that same piece of land for hundreds of years. Why not two countries ... well except if the Jews can't take it all ... Jesus cannot return!

This article was published yesterday and offers move views of this conference. And just a little more scearching I found this article. I along with a few other people may sound alarmist ... but this man Hagee with his minions (Sen. Joe Libermann, Sen. John McCain) is a dangerous man and millions believe this junk.
